3.3V Step-Up Voltage Regulator U3V16F3
This compact (0.32″×0.515″) switching step-up (or boost) voltage regulator efficiently generates 3.3 V from input voltages as low as 1.3 V and handles continuous input currents up to around 1.6 A. (Note: minimum start-up voltage is 2.7 V, but it operates down to 1.3 V after that.) The pins have a 0.1″ spacing, making this board compatible with standard solderless breadboards and perfboards.

Notes:
- 1
- Without included optional headers.
- 2
- Note: the minimum startup voltage is 2.7 V, but the regulator can operate down to 1.3 V after startup.
- 3
- The input voltage is passed through to the output of the regulator if VIN exceeds VOUT.
- 4
- Instantaneous. This is the rating for the switch, and regulator actively limits input current to this when boosting. Sustainable input current depends on input and output voltage and external conditions like ambient temperature and airflow.
